My name is Ellen Hutchinson-Kay, and I am 25 years old and I am from Stockholm, Sweden. This year will be my first full year as a professional golfer where I will play on the Sunshine Tour and the LET Access Series. Before turning pro last June, I played college golf for the University of Mississippi for five years. Before moving to the US, I attended Celsiusskolan, a prominent sports academy in Uppsala, which is among the largest in Sweden. During my college career, I was part of the first team in the program’s history to win our SEC conference championship and the first to clinch an NCAA team championship.
My long-term goals include establishing myself on the LPGA Tour and the LET. I plan to achieve this by beginning my professional journey in Europe on the LET Access Tour this summer. After gaining experience on the tour, I will participate in the US Q-School to secure my status on the LPGA.
